Hello Pete and Matt,
I’ve just gotten into your podcast, and I must say it is a great idea. Although I’ve only listened to the first seven episodes in their entirety, I have found them to be insightful and very helpful as someone who has been questioning my place within the gainer society and the gay society. Thanks so much for what you do.
Having said that, some things you two have said I have found very interesting and would like you to expand upon. Mainly I am curious of the role of marijuana in the gaining community. In one of the first few episodes one of you mentioned that it is of course helpful in gaining, but how prevalent is it in the community? It’s the first time I had ever made a connection between the two and by the way you two talked you made it seem commonplace. It would be great if you could shed some light on the matter.
As for a podcast episode, I’m unsure of whether it will be an expansive enough topic to warrant a full podcast but you may consider doing a segment on gaining supplements. Either stories about ones that worked or dispelling any rumors around them would bring up good information for any aspiring gainers out there.
Best of luck with future recordings and thanks again.
Thanks for listening and giving the show a chance,
Marijuana use within the community is probably more common than most would think. It is still taboo, even in our very liberal community. Some see it as cheating, some just don’t like the fact that it’s a drug, and some love it. When we led you to believe that it is in fact common, I think we meant it was common in our home. Matt does not smoke marijuana for work-related reasons, but Peter does and it certainly enhances his ability to eat more over a longer period of time. As far as a definitive number, we couldn’t say. However, we do know that there are many others who use it in their own gaining exploits.
Having a podcast about supplements is a great idea and something we haven’t touched upon yet! Thanks for the idea. We’ll have to do a little research and find out who actively uses enhancers besides marijuana and more in the field of shakes, pills, etc.
Thanks for listening!
After this week’s podcast we will start a bi-monthly schedule. This will allow us to make a better effort in keeping things fresh and interesting AND allow us to have a weekend life as well. We’re not going away.
Thanks for listening,

This week’s podcast on gaining and sex was terrific! As I sat here listening, I kept busting out huge grins. You created the sense of including a listener in a small circle of friends who know each other so well that there are no embarrassing secrets left among them—just lots of affection and laughs. I could say that’s artful, and it is, but beyond that I think it’s a brave and generous thing to do.
Thanks yet again,
Thanks for being a religious listener. We always look forward to your “encouraging” emails. It was definitely an intimate topic and we blushed the entire way through it. Its good to hear that we are conveying something in humorous, yet personal tone. Thank you for reinforcing that.
Matt & Pete
We demand them. NOW.
Give us a question, we’ll probably give you an answer, please?
Hi, could you direct, or provide, a comprehensive week long style dietary plan for the burgeoning gainer? I’m trying to be an encourager for a friend, but have no clue what foods I should be motivating him on while not focusing wholly on fast food and other obvious things.
I honestly don’t think that having a regiment is all that necessary. When you enjoy what you’re engaging in without restriction, its all the more enjoyable. Keep that in mind when you’re encouraging. Fun is key.
As for what to eat without delving too deeply into fast food, I’d say carbs are the way to go. Pasta, rice, breads, etc And starches: corn, potatoes, oat meal, grits. Carbs are amazing in that they give us fuel, but are converted into sugar and if one is lazy enough, into fat. Adding a dessert or 10 in there will help too.
Make sure to find out what he likes and try to prepare things around that. For instance if he’s a meat eater, make pasta with meat balls..
I can’t stress enough, have fun with it. Seeing a number and a goal is great, but its not everything.
Hey guys, Princely54,
I wanted to throw both of you some kudos on the site in general, and the interviews specifically. I really enjoy the open spirit of the conversations and I really like/think that you are getting some information and ideas out there that could actually be useful to people in our ‘community’. I bet there are still many guys who feel the same way that Matt felt about himself before he really began to gain, and it will be a revelation to hear that others feel/felt the same way.
Keep up the great work and I look forward to more. I am fat guy, so I am often looking forward to ‘more’,
We’re glad you’re enjoying. Please keep listening and sending positive and constructive criticism our way. Its the only way we “grow.” (Har, har)
Thanks for listening,
Hi Matt and Pete,
I’m bellywolf from Grommr. You metion how sites like gainerweb were the first way to the community in your podcast. Yes, that’s how most guys find their way, however, I didn’t go that route. I had never heard or been on those sites. I started with fat furries when I was 16. I don’t know if you know what are furries or about the furry fetish. I was and still into anthro animals getting fat and bloating. Later, like 2 years a ago, I found beefyfrat then… you can figure out the rest. I know I’m not the only one. You should have a topic about different ways people got into gaining and/or the furry route to gaining.
That is an excellent idea. I (we) have some acquaintances and friends who, while may not have found gaining through the furry world, are a part of it. And, you are correct, there is a large presence of the furry community within the gaining community and it is worth exploring. We’ll add this to the line up of topics and you will be hearing from us at some point in the near future.
Thanks for listening,
